The Women’s Ministry at Toronto Life-Spring Christian Fellowship was officially launched on November 21st, 2004. It began with a few committed ladies who decided to dedicate their time and efforts to building deeper relationships amongst the women at Life-Spring and with God. These women formed the core team of the Women’s Ministry.

The Women’s Ministry kicked off their first event in December with an elegant tea party and cookie exchange. The woman had a chance to share with one another in an intimate setting of cookies and candles!

In January and February, the women banded together to help make graduation special for a group of kindergarten students in Africa. The ladies “Sew and Praise” Saturdays produced forty-five pairs of pants, which coupled with new t-shirts, made a complete graduation outfit.

For the months of April and May, Pastoral Assistant, Ms. Anita Wong guided the women through Joyce Meyer’s teaching tapes on “Bitterness, Resentment, and Unforgiveness.” These teaching sessions helped to enable some of the ladies to identify areas of bitterness and unforgiveness in their lives and surrender it to God.
