Worship Ministry 

At Toronto Life-Spring Christian Fellowship, we believe in a wholesome aspect of worship.

So what is worship?

Jesus said in John 4:23-24:

	"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and His worshippers must worship in spirit and in truth."

Before one worships, one must first have that belief and personal relationship with Jesus Christ, which then results in a living faith/walk with the Almighty God, our Father in heaven. Worship is then the outcome of our adoration , exaltation and magnification of God. When we praise, love, admire, and celebrate God, we are worshipping Him. Worship is totally concerned with the worthiness of God and not the worthiness of the worshipper.

Why do we worship?

Mark 12:30

	“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.”

This is the greatest commandment, the first commandment that Jesus gave. Worship is the highest calling and first priority of the church. It is in worship that we are more able to fulfill the commandment of God – in worship, we meet Him, He meets us, and we pour our love on Him.

When do we worship?

Mark 12:31

“Love your neighbour as yourself. There is no greater commandment than these”

The second part of His commandment is to essentially love others and serve them in areas that God has called us to. Worship extends beyond leading/playing music on Sunday service. It transcends all aspects of our life with self and others, both in church and outside of church.

Currently the main role of the worship ministry is to support the weekly Sunday Services and other special events with leading/playing of praise and worship music. The worship ministry comprises of Christians who participate in or play one or more of the following roles/instruments:

1. Worship Leader
2. Worship Singer
3. Piano/Keyboard
4. Electric/Acoustic Guitar
5. Bass
6. Drums
7. Recorder
8. Sound Personnel
9. Multimedia Projection

We welcome those who are called to join the ministry, and would submit an application to participate in this ministry. Be blessed as you express your worship through songs and service in this Fellowship of believers.
