At the beginning of 2020, we sensed the Lord leading us to reach outward and connect seniors in Long-Term Care Centres. Little did we know just how difficult things were about to get…
Although COVID-19 has set us back from where we would’ve liked to be, it has also revealed to us all how vital care for our seniors is. It has prevented us from physically visiting Bethany Lodge (in Markham) and Cummer Lodge (in Willowdale) but we are as determined as ever to begin building connections now! Rather than sending mail we have decided to put together a video for each Seniors Home… but we need your help!
If you would like to participate, please send a video of you and/or your family doing one or more of the following:
– waving at the camera
– blowing kisses
Saying:
– “Hello/hi Bethany Lodge!” + “Hello/hi Cummer Lodge!”
– “We can’t wait to meet you!”
– “We are the _______s and we can’t wait to meet you!”
– “We’re praying for you!”
Think of this as an introduction to the seniors we will meet and get to know more in person in the future 🙂
