Annual Family Meeting

Annual Family Meeting

I want to thank the Elders, the Board of Directors, the Deacons, the Pastoral Team – 2021 finances is another year of faithfulness.

Over the past 3 years we have been around the $500,000 tithing mark. Thank God for that. This shows that we have a strong and steady family – people who are committed and love this church – people who give their time, talent, and treasurers.

Christianity is at an all time low since Stats Can started tracking in 1985. Down almost 5% from only 8 years ago. This is the sharpest decline amongst all major religions.

For those born between 1940 – 1959 there is a religious affiliation rate of 85%
For those born between 1980 – 1999 there is a religious affiliation rate of 32%

All this to say, the church is in a rapid decline. When you walk into the workplace, the grocery store, the shopping mall… wherever you go – as a Christian, you are becoming more and more rare.

As a church we have remained steady and see signs of growth.

I want to thank you Lifespring. To grow in God, to be steadfast, to be faithful – in an environment that is against God, counter Christian… It takes Effort. It is easy to slip into the patterns of this world and move away from God. Fight for your faith.

As we continue in 2022, For His Name’s Sake, I felt Lord call us to live a life worthy of His calling:

Without the Holy Spirit we dry up

Spirit without Word we blow up

Word and Spirit and we grow up

Let us keep growing in the Lord, becoming the mature sons (huios) He is calling us to be.
