Dear LifeSpring Family,
I have recently started walking at Markville Mall before the stores open. I do this as part of my exercise routine as well as to listen to the Lord. I took the opportunity to ask God for His message to me and LifeSpring regarding Kingdom Parenting this week. I sensed God affirming the need for Kingdom Parenting for the following reasons:
- Helps me mature a little more in Him as I focus on the needs of others and not only my own needs.
- Helps me become a little bit more like our Lord Jesus Christ, “dying” a little more so that others may “live” a little more.
- Helps me to “lift up” my eyes from myself to where my help comes from – Abba Father.
To be obedient to who, where and how I can participate in His will for Kingdom Parenting in my life, I need to listen to his voice:
- No Fear – Romans 8:15-17
- Not Perfect – Romans 8:33-34
- Grace Upon Grace – John 1:16-17
Ask Abba Father where, how and to whom He wants you to be a “parent” in His Kingdom.
