Dear LifeSpring Family,
Recently, I have been working at my dining room table instead of at my standing desk in my office.
There are two pictures (attached) on the wall by the dining table. The two pictures are of the words “believe and hope” in Chinese characters. The Holy Spirit was speaking to me as I gazed upon the two pictures. Do I really believe what I say I believe? This was connected to the verse that I was reading in Luke 12:33-35.
33 Sell your possessions, and give to the needy. Provide yourselves with moneybags that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys. 34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. – ESV
Did my actions reflect what I say I believe or what I truly believe? For my actions show where my hope lies. In my ability to plan and execute or ultimately, in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ? Please pray for me and my heart.
Thank you and grace upon grace.
Jerry
