As we prepare for an exciting journey of fruitfulness in 2025, allow me to share some thoughts with you from Matthew 14:22-33.
And Peter answered him, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.” 29 He said, “Come.” So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus.
– Matthew 14:22-23
Fruitfulness often times requires you to “walk on water” towards our Lord Jesus Christ and take risks.
“Walking on water” requires faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Faith requires courage, action and risk taking. Fear and doubts are the enemy of faith, but always remember that our Lord Jesus Christ is always faithful to you. His plan for your life is that you bear much fruit.
When was the last time you asked our Lord Jesus Christ whether you should “walk on water” towards Him? When was the last time our Lord Jesus Christ called you to “walk on water” towards Him? When was the last time you “walked on water” towards our Lord Jesus?
