As we close 2024, we close the season of Patient Endurance and look to a season of Fruitfulness.
Although fruitfulness seems like a much more ‘happy’ alignment, we must recognize that new seasons come with new challenges. When Karyne planted her garden, there was much patient endurance waiting for seeds to grow fruitful. It seemed like all that was happening was vines and leaves. But, one day, out came fruit!
Karyne was growing mini eggplants and as soon as these wonderful fruits started to sprout, we began to see predators come try to steal, kill, and destroy them. We even saw a squirrel rip an eggplant from the garden and leave it on the fence!
A year of fruitfulness does not mean a year without obstacles.
Yet, as we look back on a year of Patient Endurance we can see God’s hand all over it. No matter where you are in the season of Patient Endurance, take a moment to reflect and see the goodness of God.
