Over the past couple of weeks I have had the privilege of engaging with people from all walks of life. Some seniors, some children, some in ministry, some in the workplace, etc. Something that really stood out to me was the fact that everybody has a story.
In a recent meeting, the speaker mentioned that his eldest child was having a very difficult time in life. In fact he stated that it is an extremely difficult time. It was a passing statement in the midst of long meetings, learning sessions, and questions.
Through it all, conversations and questions revolved around so many different aspects – yet not one moment was spent giving care or concern for this father who shared that his son was struggling.
After the meetings took place, Karyne and I sent a personal message just letting them know that we heard their cry and that as a family we would be praying for them and their son by name.
We all have things to do. We all have things that need to be done. But sometimes the most important thing is to pray.
Join us tonight for intercession where we will ask God to show us who he would like us to pray for. We will pray for them by name.
