Romans 8:28 (New International Version)
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
As we spring forward to a new season, it’s good to enquire of the Lord what he has in store for Life-Spring in the days ahead.
Especially at this time knowing what the world is going through…an unprecedented year, facing the fear of infection/death and uncertainty of the future because of the Covid-19 pandemic (which officially started March 11, 2020).
As a Body of Christ who are called to preach and share the good news to those who have not accepted Jesus Christ as Savior, we must take steps to prepare ourselves given what Jesus said to his disciples in Acts 1:7-8: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Especially at this time knowing we’ll soon be stepping out of a 40-year journey since the church was started on April 5, 1981. As we recount our journey in the past, recognizing God’s abiding presence and faithfulness, let’s pray and meditate on the God’s Word to discern what the Holy Spirit will be bringing forth at Life-Spring in this new season. Be encouraged as we look at the breakthroughs/supernatural acts God did with His chosen people as recorded in the Old and New Testament (Gen 7:4; Ex 16:35; Matt 4:7; Acts 7:23-40)!
God has already given us a blue-print to flow as a life-spring. Since mission is the outflow of our vision, let’s be prepared to GO where he calls us to go, GIVE as we’re reminded to give of our time, talent and tithes to advance the mission of Jesus, and GROW in knowledge and character, each member exercising his/her spiritual gift for the glory of God.
