We had an amazing privilege to hear from Missionaries that Lifespring has partnered with for many years. Not everyone would know them, but everyone in this church family has sowed into them.
Thailand Missionaries: Suwit, Dong & Zippy
They serve in a nation that consists of 93% Buddhist and >1% Christian
As they shared, I felt the Lord wanted to highlight a testimony:
10 years ago there was a flood that devastated the region. It was a crisis and they had faced an uncertain future. They had to decide to shut down or keep going despite the extreme challenges before them. They felt the Lord guide them to continue pressing onward and so they did.
In response to this crisis, Lifespring sent financial aid to buy supplies to help continue the ministry of feeding those in need. They purchased a rice cooker that they still use today. They shared that during crisis moments, because of their feeding program, the church grows the most in these times. And we thank God that Lifespring was able to help purchase a rice cooker that they still use today. But we praise the amazing King of Kings that there are still people from these moments of crisis that still come today.
The reality is, the Lifespring rice cooker did not bring salvation to others. But the Lifespring rice cooker did play a role. We may not know what our role is, how important our role is, or even what our role will do. But what the missionaries encouraged our Lifespring family to do is to keep moving forward. Each action, in obedience with God, can one day be a blessing for many others!
